Feudi di San Gregorio SPA was born in 1986. The original nucleus of the vineyards is located in the Sorbo Serpico area, where the winery is located; over time the vineyards located in the Aglianico and Greco area have been united up to the current 200 hectares under management, to which are added those of grape suppliers for an area greater than 400 hectares.
The company mission is the enhancement of the territory as a unique and inimitable factor for the production of typical wines. Precisely the interpretation of the potential of the environment, through a punctual agronomic management and respectful of the balance of the agrosystem, is at the basis of the originality of its wines: a production that is intimately linked to the pedoclimate of the different production areas, thanks to a continuous control and research action to improve its characteristics.
Today Feudi represents one of the largest companies in Campania and the “market oriented” approach has allowed it to emerge from the regional context and compete on the national and international market.
In a scenario of Irpina viticulture, still characterized by a high number of small companies, Feudi is trying to reconcile international competitiveness with territorial vocation through a close relationship with the world of research to create synergies to solve critical issues in the wine sector. and enological. The company, with its own knowledge and structures, is engaged in know-how transfer activities such as the “Simonit & Sirch Preparatori d'Uva” pruning school.
La Feudi has managed to make the “tradition-research-innovation” link a winning marketing element.
